Vittorio Luigi Alfieri

Luigi Vittorio Alfieri (Perugia, July 3, 1863 - Musestre, November 8, 1918) was an Italian military.
He was Ministry of Defence of the Kingdom of Italy after the defeat of Caporetto, the most critical time of the World War I.
== Career ==
Luigi Vittorio Alfieri began his military career with his appointment as second lieutenant of infantry in 1881, initially specializing in the body of the Alpine and since 1889 in the General Staff. From 1900 to 1905, with the rank of major and then lieutenant colonel, was teacher of logistics at the School of war. From 1908 to 1911 he worked then as an officer for the Italian Ministry of War and attained the rank of colonel. He was then sent in Benadir as commander of the colonial Italian Somalia, a position he held until 1913. He returned to Italy he was promoted to major general and obtained for a short time the command of the brigade "Brescia".
